So delicious and always great customer service. It is not what you would expect from looking outside. It is very cozy on the inside, but not small or overly crowded. It's a nice vibe and great breakfast!

I give this place 0 stars for service and .5 star for their food. I could go on and on about how crappy this place is... Their food is just not good quality or fresh, and they're an expensive place! Their fruit is not cold and it is soggy and does not taste fresh in any way whatsoever. Their re-fried beans are crusty, I don't know how that is possible but they were crusty. Also, I ordered huevos rancheros, they messed it up three times in a row, on the third time I just gave up and left. So ridiculous. How hard is it to make a basic huevo?

Came here last weekend during a snow storm and were pleased to find that it wasn't too busy. Upon entering, the two hostesses looked like they would rather be anywhere but at work, but we were quickly seated at a table in the back of the restaurant. The menu is huge, which makes decision making a tad tricky. We liked how they have items for any tastes, though prices are definitely on the high side for breakfast. I ordered a mexican omelet with a cinnamon bun and my husband had a cheese omelet. I was served a carafe of coffee, which was perfect as I like being able to fill my own cup as I please. Our food came out quite quickly and portions are massive. In addition, the amount of cheese on each dish is massive. I scraped most of mine off and it looked to be the same sized lump as my omelet. Two people could easily share one dish and still be stuffed. The omelets were very well cooked though, and we liked how crispy the pan fries were. The best part of the meal for me, was definitely the cinnamon bun. It was served super hot and is the size of a side plate. The cream cheese icing was super melty and there was the perfect amount. These are a bit pricey at $4, but are definitely worth the trip alone. We agreed that this was our new favourite breakfast spot and look forward to returning to try their other dishes. I have my eye on waffles with Nutella, marshmallow cream and strawberries. Eeeee!!

This place serves an amazing breakfast and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I was pretty blown away by how good the food is here. The only downside is the prices are pretty high. Because of this I can only justify coming here occasionally. Maybe they do this to keep the crowds away as it was busy but not a line out the door like you find at some of the other establishments on a weekend morning.

Came here on a snowy Saturday morning in late March. The winter storm was a great opportunity for us, because it allowed us to walk right into a place that usually has long long weekend waits due to its popularity. The menu is extensive, and I only wish they offered sampler platters where you could order bite sized portions of a few dishes. There were so many things that I wanted to try. I ordered a Mediterranean Frittata, which is filled with spinach, artichoke, goat cheese, tomato, onion and fresh herbs (I had them leave off the black olives). The ingredients were fresh and the meal was delicious, however the country potatoes that were served as a side were disappointingly cold. My companions all ordered the eggs benedict and were very happy with their meals. We also had an order of Granny's Plain Hot Cakes for the table. They were incredibly fluffy. I'd highly recommend Benedicts for breakfast. I regret that I couldn't sample more of their menu.

I've eaten at Benedict's several times and have taken clients here regularly. Today, however, I was co-hosting a bridal shower in the private room for about 20 guests. Getting the room was easy enough and while it's nothing special, it fit our needs perfectly. The young man who served us was great-- attentive, quick and got everything right (which is awesome considering the # of guests ordering at the same time). We enjoyed our visit and the food was good. But I'm giving Benedict's one star (which feels generous) because of the insanely inappropriate behavior of the manager to our group. We had finished with the present opening portion of the brunch and the lady who was "manager" walked into the room, interrupted the conversation and announced that we had not met our "room minimum" of $300. She said we should order more food to make up the $47 difference and then repeated herself three times about the room minimum and the cost. We were utterly horrified by her indescretion. She should have pulled one of the three hostesses aside to let us know of the bill status and NOT announced it to the entire room. Not only were we as hosts mortified by this, but so was the bride and our guests. Knowing that this was a special event for our group, the manager should have known better than to discuss price with the entire room (no prices were listed on our room's menus). It was rude, inappropriate and completely classless. The main hostess was brought to tears and we never received an apology from the manager. As a person who regularly takes clients to meals at restaurants throughout the Denver metro area, I can say definitively that I will NEVER take a client to Benedict's again. We were horrified how the manager handled our room today and I would never risk such an inappropriate interaction again. What a shame, Benedict's. Way to lose the business of more than 25 influential women in Denver today. You've made your mark.

Decided to try out this place with my then-girlfriend (now wife) a few months ago. We were promptly seated and our waitress materialized and took our order. I got the breakfast burrito; she ordered a skillet with an English muffin. Her skillet was covered in two eggs over easy and we had to send it back because she had wanted them cooked differently. The waitress never asked how she wanted them cooked. Not that big of a deal, it happens. However, my breakfast burrito was a different story. It was a burrito, cut in half, with a small bowl of red stuff and a small bowl of fruit. Where was the green chili? What was that red stuff? It didn't look like red chili so I gave it a taste.... It tasted like MARINARA mixed with SALSA! I couldn't believe how terrible it was so I had my girlfriend taste it (I hope she finds it in her heart to forgive me one day) and she agreed it was not fit for consumption. I don't think it's fit for any purpose whatsoever. So, moving on, I decided that I would eat my burrito plain. It looked good and of a considerable size so I was hoping that I I was still on-track for a good meal. Yeah, it would be dry but it was packed with chorizo so how bad could it be? It also had lots of jalapenos, a definite bonus. Unfortunately, the jalapenos were PICKLED and tasted terrible cooked with the chorizo. I was entirely unsatisfied with my meal, but I do regret not complaining to the staff at the time so that they would have a chance to fix it. More than that, though, I regret going to a restaurant where I have to complain about the food to get something worth eating.

First time here today. It was very busy which is usually a good sign. OUr waiter was so very sweet and professional. Our food was very disappointing. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a glass of iced tea. My sandwich was $8.75 and it was the quality of less than an IHOP. Chick fi la sandwich would have been 10 times better to be honest. Frozen chicken breast reheated on a dry bun with one slice of tomato, lettuce and mayo. The fries were also very basic. The iced tea was priced at $2.75. So needless to say we won't be going back. Nice people but very unappetizing food and very poor value for the high cost.

Good food. But watch for sneaky overcharges. Menu lists .50 to add chocolate chips to kids pancakes but I was charged $1.00.

  • Matthew M.

The food was really good. Awesome portion sizes. My fiancé ordered the pork skillet and I had the chorizo omelette. The green chili was very delicious. The potatoes served with most entrees are just alright. I slathered some green chili on the potatoes to compensate. The service was mediocre. Overall pretty good brunch spot.

Great breakfast! We got the eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito and the banana pancakes and everything was fantastic. The coffee is also very good and the service was excellent. Can't wait to come back

Come here for your egg benny fix! They have a variety of bennies and with the exception of the Oscar and Salmon bennies, I've tried them all. Love the Hollandaise! They also offer omelettes, waffles, pancakes, skillets, and some other breakfasty options if you're not into bennies. If you're doing the skillets, I recommend the corned beef hash or the Rancher. For waffles, do the Very Berry with strawberries. As for the pancakes, it's not a stack. It's a really large pancake which I'm not a big fan of. There's a decent amount of parking and wait times, even during the church rush, aren't that bad. The seating is a bit tight. You're really close to other tables and I felt a bit smooshed, but it is what it is. I definitely want to come back to check out their lunch menu.

This place is quite a gem tucked away off of Arapahoe. You've probably passed it hundreds of times and never really saw it. The food portions are gigantic (I finished 1/4 of my Super Mex) and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Our server was one of the nicest people I've ever met and I will defiitely be back!!

    (4)
  • Cindy H.

WOWZA!!! First of all, best server EVER!! Alex was such a superb, attentive, diamond-in-the-rough, outstanding member of the Benedict's team, that referring to him as "just" a server, seems so understated. Of course, it helped that Alex served us excellent food: Flip/Flop pancakes with granola and almonds: yummy; Chicken and waffles; chicken apple sausage; and, a really really excellent "Razzle-Dazzle" smoothie. Overall, what a wonderful experience on our first visit to Denver. We look forward to coming back to Benedict's - and Alex :)

This place is good. They have an extensive food menu. I went here with a few ladies for brunch and they were super crowded but we still got seated quite quickly. The reason why this place only gets 3 stars is because they are kind of expensive and you don't really get large portions. My mom got the crab cakes but told me that the one over at the egg and I was better. I agreed with my food also. So in the end we kinda wished we had gone to the Egg and I. Which is why it gets 3 stars. For 3 people with large juices it cost $80 bucks including tip. AHHHH. So I think next time I think we will go back over to the Egg and I. It not that their food is bad but when at the end of the meal your like ahh we probably should have went _____ instead you only get three stars.

  • Crys A.

I've eaten here twice and it's decent. Last time I was there I had the piggy-back skillet and I thought it was fine, though my boyfriend was not impressed. That's probably because his salsa was actually marinara with chunks of something in it and because they put weird pickled jalapenos in his breakfast burrito which amounted to a whole lot of no bueno. However, we went on a Sunday and despite it being Church Day we were seated promptly and the service was good. So that's something. There's nothing especially mind-blowing about the fare here, and it's probably a little too expensive for what you get. But it's good enough and the coffee is hot and tasty. I suppose I'd go back if I were in the area and hungry ... but if I had some time to drive I'd travel instead to Toast in Littleton -- any day of the week.

I ordered the classic eggs benny and they were exactly what I was expecting from a place called Benedict's. The sauce was buttery but you could taste the sweetness of the lemon in it which is excellent to me. My only complaint is the waiter seemed to be just doing the bare minimum, he could see my water was empty but didn't offer to fill it up, but did so when I asked.

No wait! Delicious Banana nut pancakes n Santa Fe Benedicts! I would recommended to all visitors

Good food, disappointingly bad service. Food was good, staff was friendly but our server was awful. My kids ordered pancakes, they didn't get syrupy the their drinks until they were 2/3 finished with their meal. I complained to a manager, but he didn't do anything remedy it. We won't be back.

We went for brunch yesterday at noon. Just a little wait & we were seated within 10 mins. Our waitress came quickly with water & to take our beverage order & the table was set including a iced water carafe to refill our water glasses. I ordered the special chicken enchaladas with 2 poached eggs on top & my boyfriend ordered a omelet with spinach, bacon & swiss cheese. Both were delicious and served hot with breakfast potatoes on the side. Our waitress Jolene was very nice and helpful with any questions. I also noticed all the staff seemed very friendly and helpful since the restaurant was very full & quite busy at noon on Sunday. We will definitely be back!

Ah-mazing! Ordered a seafood omelet and it was nothing short of perfection. The eggs were cooked just right and there was plenty crab meat and shrimp on the inside. It comes with hollandaise sauce that I got on the side but it was very good so I put it on top anyway. Their hash browns aren't too crispy and far from soggy. The customer service here is probably the best I'd ever had. Went in on a Sunday, it was busy but there was no wait. The owner came by the table a few times yo check on us and our server (christina I think?) was great! I will be here again soon. Our meals for 2 was only $33. We usually spend twice that on breakfast that isn't of the quality I received here. I'm very happy with this place!

Nice local Breakfast/Lunch place....They are obviously famous for the Benedict, and they have a few variations. I had the Cordon Bleu bennie, eggs were perfect....Hollandaise delicious, big chunk of ham underneath.....friend had the Seafood Omelette, nice portions, very tasty Crab/Shrimp medley. Potatoes could be a little better....they have hot sauce and ketchup at the table to fix em up. Also had a large OJ...that was very good as well....I'll be back.

This place serves the best breakfast in the area. HUGE menu! Omelette and skillet plates are excellent. Breakfast burrito is large! The staff is very courteous. I have eaten here at least 8 times and never disappointed....

We pulled off the freeway on a whim to get out of traffic and found this hidden gem! appears classy and upscale, but the crowd was a mixture of business men, travelers, and retiree's. Asked for steak and eggs (off menu) and got the most brilliantly prepared cut of meat ever seen in a breakfast. Chicken and waffles were yummy as well, battered in a sweet maple crust, warm, fluffy, light waffle was filling without sitting heavy in the stomach. 5 stars, will return!

  • Rebecca E.

Delicious! I left very full and there were many options. If you love brunch you need to try this place!

  • Thor C.

I ordered the Cajun benedict with crayfish. Sounded amazing. I'm pretty sure what they gave me was shrimp instead of mudbug. I inquired about that but was told that it was crawdad. (I know my shrimp) The meat was a bit on the dry side, with not much hollandaise to go with it. I tried some of my Ma's bene, that was delicious. Steak and mushroom benedict with tenderloin was awesome! The kind of amazing that makes you drool for more. If I go back, I don't think I'll even bother with reading the menu and just go straight for the fillet. The one bite I had was that good. I'll skip the Cajun.

This is a great place for breakfast. Be sure to arrive early on weekends as they are very busy. It's all good but the omlette and the pancakes are fantastic. Plenty of parking here. This is a good early morning spot before weekend activities. Across from the movie theatre and Macaroni Grill

This is my favorite breakfast place in the area - love their eggs benedict and potatoes!!!

  • KR H.

Looking for a brunch place...and stumbled on this place... Wow !! I had clam meat on English muffin, eggs, and hollandaise... Waiter offered fruit instead of potatoes... Hot Earl Grey Tea with honey and real creamer. My wife had a sausage and potatoes platter...she loved the sausage and eggs. Food came out hot and fast. Waiter was appropriately attentive... If you're looking for brunch...Good place. Lots to choose from on the menu... We'd stop in again if we were in the area.

Awesome place, I'll be going back here over and over! The orange juice is fresh squeezed and delicious. Every Benedict Israel had here has been so good. The pancakes are plentiful and delicious. I was full after eating half my pancakes and left the rest-- the waitress looked sad. Lol! I like that the workers here take pride in the restaurant. This place is popular, so plan ahead!

  • Ed G.

I really need to stay away from yelp. Maybe i expect too much? Came to Benedict's for what else but eggs Benny. Presentation was nice. Potatoes under cooked for me unless i wanted mashed. The ham was sliced unusually thick. First bite was all fat. Omg! Second the ham was so dry and flavorless i couldn't do it. Manager stopped by the table and i think he asked if everything was good? He looked away before i could answer and walked away. My girlfriend had a veg omelette that was all cheese. She said way to much. Bummer!

I'll be the first to say, I really don't like breakfast, but when you want to have a nice breakfast before 11am, especially outside of downtown, it's difficult. If you're having eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes, really, how are is it to screw that up? I went to Benedict's this morning because, as usual a more popular establishment at Southglenn was bursting as the seams; and I was hungry, no, at that point, I was actually hangry. I generally avoid patronizing places to cannot placate my hunger-monster with mimosas, but this place had pretty good reviews, so I said "what the heck?" First, the staff here is AWESOME. They're super-pleasant, accommodating, and attentive. And they have really good breakfast food. BUT, here's the humdinger, if you're on a budget, this is not the place to go. There are few breakfast items below $10 unless you order a la carte. Most entrees are between $10 and $15 for breakfast! And this is not a "fancy" place - there is nothing here that would warrant being over $11 except for the reason I'll explain in a minute. There are tons of options here in Denver that you can get way better, creative and innovative food for the same price. But I don't care for pancakes and eggs that is what their menu caters to and I also don't eat much in one meal. If you like traditional, non-frilled, American breakfast food and you're a glutton, this place is for you. While the BLT I got was only $9, I could only eat half - it was as big as my face... LITERALLY. My dining companion, who eats a ton more than me could only finish half of his breakfast skillet, which was $10-12. I know I don't eat leftovers ever, but who eats breakfast leftovers at all? If this place did 1/2 to 3/4 the portions they do and their prices reflected the same, this place would be top-notch.

  • Laura C.

Always able to seat us quickly. Energetic, knowledge able staff. They are always flexible with the menu which I personally appreciate because the make the best gluten free pancakes I've ever had! The prices are reasonable too.

The service was wonderful, great quality of food. My husband orderd the strawberry pancakes and they were to die for. The manager runs a great crew. I will definitely eat here again.

Was here for breakfast. Had the Joes Special. One of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten! If everything else on the menu is like that, nobody can go wrong. Server was very attentive and the manager came by a couple times.

  • Nathan S.

Come for the Benedict stay for the waffles. This place doesn't look as good on the outside as it does on the inside and based on the service reviews we almost passed on dining here. But I'm glad we decided to give it a chance, the food was excellent and our server, although extremely busy, took well above average care of us. Of course, I had the Benedict and it did live up to the name. Good quarter inch cut pieces of Canadian bacon and perfect sauce. My only complaint on the food was the potatoes on the side covered unevenly with spices. And strangely what amazed me the most was the Very Berry Waffle we shared on the table. I would highly recommend trying Benedict's Restaurant as long as it's not too busy.

  • David B.

First time coming here so I tried one of the many choices for Eggs Benedict. I was not disappointed. The hollandaise sauce here is perfect. The service was good. Leaving here very satisfied. They could afford to turn the heater off though.

  • Kylie M.

As someone that loves breakfast, I was not impressed with this place. Customer service doesn't seem to be a priority. The majority of the menu is overpriced for mediocre food. A side of bacon was $5.50 and it tasted like plastic. I don't mind paying more for great food, but that is not the case with Benedict's. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unfortunately.

    (2)
  • William R.

They have a green chili and pulled pork skillet that is excellent and more than you can eat at one sitting (will have leftovers for breakfast tomorrow morning). Daughter had a strawberry waffle that was just over average and kind of lean on the strawberries (4 full strawberries for a whole belgian waffle but the waffle was done just right. Service was excellent, even let us in a few minutes early since we got there about 5 minutes before they were scheduled to open (pet peeve, restaurants that make you stand out in the cold. Don't expect them to be ready to serve you, but at least they can let you into the lobby when it is freezing out). Definitely would go back.

    (4)
  • Blake W.

Food was great but service is lacking. We came in before they closed so that might of had a lot to do with it but still. We waited awhile until anyone came to the table. Waitress disappeared and came back once we finished. I can say the food tasted great but a boost in service would help make this a better restaurant.

First time visit today, and we def plan on coming back more. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice was really good! Breakfast sandwich and their rancher skillet was amazing! Try their cinnamon rolls! Overall great brunch, great service, great atmosphere.

I really like this place, and have only ordered breakfast. The portions are a great size... and the pancakes are perfect.. would recommend this place to anyone who likes to get full with breakfast!!! Every dish I've had was phenomenal Yum yum!!!

Eggs Benedict Classic! Wow! Overall flavor was good, country potatoes were nice and crisp and the hollandaise sauce was superb. I can't wait to come back and enjoy a second round. Thanks!

  • Jon H.

Tried Benedict's for the first time on Sunday. Love eggs Benedict, so seemed like a home run. They had two specials, so my wife and I each ordered one. I had eggs Benedict over a steak. The steak had an odd smell and an irony after taste. The hollandaise was bland. Luis, our server was unfriendly and pushy, then dropped off the water pitcher and coffee thermos, rarely to be seen again. Bad service, bad food = a local that won't return.

Seafood omelette and blueberry pancakes were beyond measure. Plus, they bring you your own pot of coffee. I could not stop eating.

  • Courtney B.

We were sat immediately during Sunday brunch, that was AWESOME! The OJ is fresh squeezed, also awesome. The service, pretty good too. The food... not so much. I got the eggs Benny, with a side of home fries. The potatoes were cold and too spicy. My eggs were slightly under poached. Hubby got a burger that came with a fried egg on it. The egg ended up being medium fried. When he cut in, it ran everywhere and he doesn't like that. He sent it back and the stupid cook fried the same egg and threw it back on the same bun and burger that was covered in yolk. It was comped, but still... we won't be back, even with the coupon for a free meal we were given.

  • Kristina S.

Great breakfast joint. Always clean and cherry. I've never had anything here that I didn't like. The portions are just right, and you pay a reasonable price for what you get. The coffee is always delicious and the staff is always super happy to help. All the food is fresh and the bathrooms are always clean.

  • Sabrina R.

My favorite breakfast place! I only had one thing on their menu I didn't care for and they kindly gave me something else. Service with a smile!! They do tend to be a little on the price for breakfast. I wish they would offer a breakfast bread, eggs and maybe even potatoes. Could use some good salsa with those egg choices.

    (4)
  • Nolan C.

Not bad, but for the price it's not a place I would go back. The menu is pricey all around, very few items under $11.00 which is fine but it didn't deliver $11.00 breakfast results. $6.95 for a kids meal !?! Yikes, and no fruit included. I really did like the Eggs Hampshire, but nothing else was mind blowing. Coffee was good, service was ok, kinda spotty. Doubt we'll return. $45 bucks for breakfast (tip included) is just too much for average food. Oh well, the search for decent breakfast in SE Denver continues.

I'm officially a regular!! Love, love, love this place! The food is fantastic and the staff is wonderful. The manager is one of my favorite people to see on the weekend because she is always so happy and always has a story to tell. My favorite server is Luis. My favorite dish is the Eggs Benedict but I have them add goat cheese! I have also had the French Toast with strawberries! The portions are huge and you definitely will get your money's worth!!

Soooooo I took my parents here when they were visiting from Chicago....we hadn't gone here before and not sure we would go again...my dad decided he had to get a benedict because heck that is the name...but honestly out of everything served it was the worst item....so disappointing. I got the seafood omelet which was just okay...the worst was when the food arrived it took a bit for our server to come back to check on us and when she did we let her know we were missing our sausage links and milk and her response was "oh good, that was all that was missing?" I didn't realize not getting everything should be a normal thing at a restaurant. So overall...overpriced and just a-ok food and service...

Took my kids on a whim before a movie and discovered this cool little place. Very clean, nice staff and food was excellent. A little on the pricey side for breakfast/lunch food...but pretty big portions. Cannot wait to try other delicious sounding things off the menu

Worst ever! They were moderately busy we waited a bit to even get acknowledged after we got seated. When the waitress finally showed and we were ready to order she told us we would have to wait as there were others in front of us. Ok I get that but she actually scolded us. Not our fault that the hostess overstated her. On to the food. If the name of your restaurant is Benedict's you would think that you could prepare them correctly. I asked for my poached eggs over med hard and got hard as a rock, cold eggs, tough can bac and muffin. This must be the norm on the can bac and bread as the dish was served with a steak knife to cut it. Not once did our waitress ask if the food was prepared to our liking and she forgot my milk. No manager to speak of on the way out and neither hostess standing at the front asked us how our meal was or even wish us a good day. That and the employees running around with dirty shirts really turned us off. Never again!

About two years ago, I worked in this same complex where Benedicts is located. If you ever worked along side of a restaurant, you don't eat there. Or at least I don't. So after being 2 years removed, I tried out this breakfast joint. Sigh... I wanted to be surprised and be blown away with this breakfast hot spot. First off that really pisses off my boyfriend, you can't swap out anything for waffles. Strike number 2, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs. I got equal to 4 eggs and they were the standard eggs you get in school lunch. The french toast was eh....SIGH!! WHY DIDN'T we go to Wash Park and Eat!!! The pancakes were mushy. Reason for 3 rating, it's equal to IHOP, and it's edible. Would I go back? Probably not unless..... IHOP is packed.

Great place to stop in! Food was pretty good, and service was great! This restaurant is definitely directed towards an older age group (50+), so if you're looking for a hip, fresh, trendy place, go to Snooze down the road (Southglenn mall).

  • Max C.

A refreshing upscale breakfast joint. Quality food with generous portions and skillful execution. The service is generally good but some waiters are better than others. Not as cheap as some other breakfast places in DTC but the waiting lines are much shorter on weekends than the other places while the food is just as good if not better.

I know, I said I wouldn't be back. Unfortunately, a family member of my husband loves this place and always wants to 'meet us there for breakfast'. I was so not enthused about re-visiting my last experience here I decided that I would eat before, but unfortunately I slept in too late and didn't have the time. I tried the 'Eye Opener' this time, and I have to say that Benedict's idea of 'country potatoes' is rather disappointing. There was nothing 'country' about my potatoes. They had about just as much onions in them as potatoes. Now usually, I'm a fan of onions, but this was just too much for me. Our waiter apparently needs to clean his ears out. He was very thorough about the questions he asked regarding what I wanted with my breakfast when it came to options, but he didn't listen to the answers. I asked for a white English muffin, I got wheat. I asked for no lemon in my ice tea, and I got one. These kinds of things. Of course it's not meal shattering, but you get the idea. It's fairly annoying. We will decline our next invitation to this restaurant, because neither my husband nor I could see paying the price for such mediocre food and inattentive service.

I can't get enough of this place! I love sitting next to the warm fireplace in winter, great service and decor! And the FOOD! Awesome! My favorite is the Eggs Cordon Bleu.

I went there on a weekday for a late-morning breakfast just as a the first snowstorm of the season was rolling into Denver. The place was quite crowded. I got my drink order taken quickly, but submitting the order for the blueberry pancakes took a while. And I had to wait for them to arrive. I waited quite a while, really. I was rewarded with a stack of thick, fluffy, delicious-looking panCAKES that hit the spot. The blueberries weren't mixed into the batter as is usually the case. With these the blueberries rested on the top in a dollop of compote. In any case they were delicious. And at the price, they should have been. It's an older, established crowd at this place. The atmosphere is upscale. Not the place to go to save money. A nice spot nonetheless.

Meh. They have good omelettes and fritattas and what have you, but if you want to get more than JUST an omelette, you have to order it as a side. I like my brunch to be rounded. It doesn't have to be gluttonously large, but I mean, don't just give me the biggest GD omelette ever made. Give me a medium size omelette with maybe some hash browns or an English muffin. So, if you want a diverse brunch, you have to order a main dish and then your sides. So my brunch of a glass of cranberry juice, one gigantic waffle and a side of country potatoes ended up being $15. It just strikes me as ridiculous. I could get a brunch at around the same quality at The Egg and I for about $9 and have all of my taste buds satisfied. The only reason I keep going here is because it's close to the boy's place. And I'm insanely lazy on Sundays and Saturdays when I decide I want brunch.

After giving Benedict's a second chance, I'm sure i won't be back. This time I had the pecan waffle. My boyfriend had the Piggyback skillet. While the food wasn't bad, it was absolutely nothing special. When the check came, my boyfriend said that $30 was too expensive for our food (which I agreed with) and that he wouldn't come back either. Save your money and go to Snooze!!

This is not a bad place to have that breakfast you want at lunch but it is kinda expensive. 24.00 for a coffe, diet coke, blt, waffle and extra crispy bacon. It was not too busy but it took awhile to get our order taken. Once we did the serivce was fine. There is more than plenty on the plate to eat and it is tasty. My favorite part is the little round chocolate mints they give you when they bring you the bill. There use to be a bowl when you left but I bet people took too many. Shame shame.

After reading a lot of good reviews we decided to try this place instead of going to our usual breakfast hole. Large menu with a friendly staff, we were expecting a lot more than what we got. Husband ordered the Mediterranean frittata, tasted like they use canned spinach, canned artichoke, and canned tomatoes. One would expect a Mediterranean anything to be light and flavorful, it was bland and unappetizing. I ordered the bananas foster French toast, was delicious, good portion. Potatoes were cold, kinda tasted like fish. Eggs were good! Coffee is good. We asked the manager why they charge $13 for a canned frittata, she assured us it's not and that they steam the spinach, I kinda doubt it. Either your steamer is really gross or you use canned foods. I don't see us being back in the near future.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to go to this restaurant. Since I was meeting someone who suggested it, I decided to give it a try. I had the Pork Green Chile Skillet which was pretty good. Nothing special, but the serving size was huge! My brother and sister-in-law each had different skillets and for some reason, theirs were not nearly as large as mine. The green chile had a little bit of a kick, but not much. It was tasty, however. The service was excellent! I'd eat there again, but since it's out of my way, it would have to be to meet someone for a special occasion. There are other breakfast restaurants closer to me that are just as good and not quite as expensive.

This place seemed nice enough, but my experience with the service was lacking. Pros: good selection of food. Very reasonable prices, I think most of the entrees were $7-10. Food was pretty good, not amazing, but very solidly good. The decor was nicer than you'd expect from the exterior and the prices: big fire place, good lighting, neutral colors. Cons: I think I got put at the worst table they have, right in front of the waiter's station and entry to the kitchen. So I was sitting maybe four feet away from the congregating space where the manager and waiters talked about where to put tables, who was taking what. The manager seemed annoyed. It seems like all of those conversations should not take place in front of a customer. I don't know why they put me there--there were plenty of other open tables and booths. Then! They sat a table of seven directly next to me. It made it noisy, plus they moved the table such that there was just a narrow walkway between me and the guy behind me, which would be fine except since it was right next to the kitchen, every single employee walked by and bumped my chair within about 5 minutes. I moved to the other side of the table, even though it meant I was now facing the window with the sun in my eyes. Further, I left my name and the name of the client I was meeting with the hostess. I had not met her before, so I didn't spot her when she came in. She stood there for a good ten minutes before realizing I was already there. I don't know why the hostess didn't ask her if she was meeting someone. When I first sat down, no one came to get my drink order. Finally, after five minutes or so, a passing by waitress caught me eye and asked if my server had been by. I said no, and she was nice and said she'd help out by getting me water and coffee. I still didn't see my actual server until my companion showed up. (I had gotten there 15 minutes early.) And then they brought me the wrong dressing with my salad. I mean, honestly, they goofed on the service at every opportunity. I could forgive the bad table, the nearby large party, the slow initial service, the bumping, the missing my companion, the wrong dressing, any of those individually would not be a big deal, but combined I have to admit I see a trend. I may try it again, and if the service is better I'll come back and revise my review. But overall I was really unimpressed.

Great place for breakfast! Alex was our waiter and he took great care of us. We ordered and received our food within 15 minutes. The mushroom and goat cheese eggs benedict was delicious! My brother ordered the very berry belgian waffle and it was to die for. I was very impressed with the decor and ambience of the place. Definitely will go back!

We went to Benedict's for breakfast on July 4th, and there was no wait - unusual for a Sunday. I had the Eggs Benedict - what they are "known for". The english muffin was well toasted, the hollandaise was freshly and in-house made, and the candian bacon was sliced thick. Surprisingly, the eggs were perfectly poached - it's usually the downfall of a benedict. My wife had the BLTA, which came on a large croissant and had lump crab meat and shrimp in it. She took half of it home for the next day lunch. It was very flavorful. However, the salad that came with the sandwich was lack luster - obviously a bad lettuce and a single cherry tomato to spruce it up. Our dining partner had huevos rancheros - which looked overloaded with cheese. The pico de gallo was very nice, however, and obviously fresh. We will be going back here.

So I've been here a couple times with my grandparents, it's down by their house and a good halfway point for me to meet them coming from DU. I've had decent food here every time, but as others have mentioned they're lacking inspiration to take it to really excellent food. The last time I was here (Sunday for lunch) I messed up and tried to order lunch. Every time I make this mistake I regret it. Their breakfast items really outshine anything lunchy - save for the Reuben, that's passably decent. I had the Southwest Chipotle sandwich with dry chicken, pale pink tomatoes, and under-ripe avocado. The sauce tasted more like mayo than chipotle, but I suppose they have to cook to the crowd's tastes. My grandparents love this place, but I think it needs more flavor.

This was definetly a great place for a sunday breakfast. Service was fast and friendly. The food was great. The best part was the prices were very reasonable for what we got. I did read a couple of the not so plesent reviews on this place before I went, but no one is perfect and im glad i gave this place a chance. In my opinion, this place is worth a shot. I know ill be back

So, Benedict's looks like a bit like a Luby's, and the clientele is very similar. My friend's comments: Eggs Benedict was very good, potatoes were cold, coffee was overpriced. My comments: I had the veggie omelette and it was really quite good except for the cheese on top. It looked like what King Sooper's markets as "casserole cheese"... some unnaturally orange color with a dry consistency. Weird. I actually like the potatoes and the fresh squeezed OJ was pretty good. You'll definitely encounter the after-church crowd on Sunday. We didn't have to wait at 1pm, however.

Trying to decide where to eat for Father's Day brunch was difficult b/c of all the brunch places Denver has to offer. Since we were already in the area, we decided to head over to Benedict's for brunch. As people have stated before, the after-church crowd was in full force and we waited around 30 minutes (not bad considering it was Father's Day and we had no reservation The menu is quite extensive and I opted for the Mexican Frittata - jalapenos, salsa, chorizo, bell peppers, guacamole, sour cream, etc. It also comes w/country-fried potatoes, which are just that potatoes and nothing else. When the plate came out, it really didn't look like a Frittata, it looked more like a scramble, which is okay b/c there was a ton of stuff in it anyways. It wasn't too bad, however, I should have opted for something sweet to offset the saltiness of the Frittata. Albeit, the place wasn't too bad and the wait was pretty typical especially for a busy Father's Day. Not a bad place to eat breakfast...however, I'll try something a little different the next time.

Portion sizes were huge. A decent place but, although locally owned and not a chain, I felt like the food lacks soul. Servers were nice and helpful. Greek frittata was over cheesed and the olives tasted like they were from a can. Everything was generally good, but lacked the pizazz I need to give a higher rating. Food didn't stand out on quality, but was pretty comparable to everything else. Redeeming traits: fresh squeezed oj, and a chicken apple sausage with lamb casing - a good option for those who don't eat pork. They brought out a free cinnamon roll while we waited on our food since it was our first time. [I liked the chicken apple sausage (because I usually like a little syrup on my sausage anyway) but my husband thought it was way too sweet for his liking. ]

I've gone here many times and it's consistent. The service is really, really good. The place is large so I've never had to wait. The food is ok. I've never had a bad meal but it's basic, nothing special. Odd since the owner also owns upscale Brooks Steakhouse.

After deciding not to wait an hour and a half for breakfast at Snooze we stopped at Benedicts. The service was below average. The waitress forgot some of my stepson's order and when reminded she had to ask if he still wanted it. The food was also below average. Definatly not worth what we paid for. Next time we'll be waitig an hour and a half for Snooze.

Well, I went here for the first time last Sunday with my hubby, all 5 of our kids, my girlfriend, her hubby and their 2 children....lose count yet? Yes, that's 11 of us! We called ahead to be sure they could accomodate our party and they said they would have something ready....COOL! Well, there was a wait, but not a long one while they truly did get a table ready for all of us. The menu was large and rather diverse....the kids were all given things to keep them busy coloring while we all decided what we were going to eat. Also they were kept busy while we parents figured out if our kids could share meals to save costs or not....I wouldn't recommend children really....they add up at $6.75 per meal! Plus the food wasn't any larger than a less expensive family restaurant....so next time, we will go without children because our bill ended up being more than $70.00 for a family of 7. Which I find spendy.....others might not. :-) Since I read the reviews before we went, I saw that others were saying the Eggs Benedict was fantastic and it IS the dish that I judge breakfast joints by! So I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was GREAT! I would have been highly disappointed to eat at a restaurant named Benedicts and then have their Eggs Benedict suck!! :-) The potatoes weren't that great, but I don't normally eat those much anyway. I just like my potatoes with some crispiness to them, and these had hardly any. My hubby ordered the omelette and loved it. The OJ was fresh squeezed, so it was worth the steep price! My hubby and I shared a carafe easily since we both love water with our food. My food also came with a huge slice of watermelon, which was 'picked' off by one of the kids..... The kids loved their breakfasts and only one of them came out wrong, which is amazing considering how many kids we had with us!! For the price, I expected more food than their little stomachs could hold....but in actuality, there were kids begging food off of the others that hadn't finished quite yet. So there was a lot of "are you going to eat all that pancake" and "do you want all that bacon??" Usually there is wasted food at our table!! All in all it was great because we had gone with good friends, had good conversation and my Benedict was delicious! Next time hubby and I will go alone and pay less ;-)

This place is clean, and it's easy to get a table. The food is average. I went there for a weekday breakfast with my husband, and it was just okay. The juice is fresh squeezed, and the water was attentive and great, so that was nice. I might try it again.

A step back in time to when linen napkins were a standard, not something special. The food was excellent, the service was first class. The pity is that it is a breakfast brunch specialty restaurant. The decor is plush and clean looking. Surprisingly, the tab was exactly the same as the Egg and I just around the corner. The difference between the two restaurants was immense.

Benedict's isn't perfect, but it's a very good breakfast/brunch place relatively near to my home, so it's "convenient" for me. Not sure I'd travel across town to experience it, though. They have good variety, and they're less busy than my latest breakfast fave -- The Original Pancake House in DTC. The nearby Le Peep is good too, and all three are busy on weekends, but Benedict's usually has the shortest wait, if only by a few minutes. A good place to meet up with family or friends for brunch, if you're in the South DTC area.

Benedict's - A Haiku What tastes the best? Benedict's Rich Uncle Time for some breakfast I credit the finding of this place to my in laws. They are always in search for a good breakfast place for us to meet them at after church. For a long time it was Le Peep. Now we have Benedict's. The service here is always fabulous. They are johnny on the spot with the fresh coffee and orange juice. Sometimes it is very tough to get a table on the weekends, as this place is quiet popular. They have many different takes on the traditional eggs Benedict. I really love the Benedict's Rich Uncle. Egg, Mushrooms, Swiss and broccoli on a croissant covered in hollandaise. Overall your not going to find many better places for a Saturday or Sunday brunch. I highly recommend it.

Benedict's is okay by me. I wouldn't say I was in love with the place, but I left happy. Our service was a bit slow, but the place was jam-packed so I was feeling forgiving. Everyone really enjoyed their food and my breakfast croissant sandwich filled with cheesy eggy goodness was all I could ask for...especially after a night of drinking.

This place is decent. They have a nice selection for Breakfast, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Oddly enough though, for a place that mostly serves breakfast, they have exquisite salads. Both the Caesar and Cobb are good. Service is nice and consistent. One thing I have noticed is that it seems to appeal to older people the most. Don't really see too many people with young kids here, but Benedict's is great for everyone.

I had heard that this place was fantastic. I ate there for lunch and had a pesto chicken sandwich. It was okay, not great. My friends get the florentine omelette and said it is REALLY good. Next time I'll have breakfast & see if I'm more impressed.

It's tough to find a good breakfast joint but they have some good options on the menu. Also, lunch is obviously not their specialty but I had a tasty basic burger there too. When The Pancake House is too busy we'll sometimes migrate here.

My husband, three young kids and I went here this morning for breakfast. These days, since we've had kids, my hubby and I don't frequent nicer places when out with our brood because we really don't want to disturb other patrons. Our kids can be quite noisy and rambunctious sometimes. We were looking for a place other than the typical IHOP and Denny's to do breakfast. Checked out the reviews on Benedict's and it said the place was kid friendly so we decided to give it a shot. We figured it couldn't be any worse than our last experience at Snooze. In another review on Snooze, we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for absolutely average, bland food. The service at Snooze was just acceptable, nothing more. Well, I have to say that Benedict's food and service was just wonderful. We got there pretty early, around 8:30AM. When we first walked in, I thought we'd made a huge mistake on going there because it really appeared to be a place that my husband and I would never take our family circus to. It was nicely decorated, the servers are not casually dressed. But we made the trek out there from Highlands Ranch and we were committed at this point. Plus, we were prepared with puzzles and other toys to occupy the kids and keep them quiet. Since it was early, we didn't have to wait long to get seated. Only long enough for them to set up a booth for us which we specially asked for to be able to pen in our children better. While we waited a couple minutes, our server, Crystal, came over to the waiting area and got our children's drink order. I just thought that was so awesome. That might not impress others, and maybe it's because we rarely frequent nicer places with our kids, or maybe because I've gotten so accustomed to atrocious customer service in restaurants these days. We got to our table and I just can't say enough about how good our server, Crystal, was. She made great food suggestions, was equally attentive to us and to our kids, and was never missing in action. You know how it goes in most restaurants, you get your food, the server checks on you once and then they disappear until it's time to give you the check. Crystal was the best server we've sat with in a while, and that includes with or without our kids. The food was SO GOOD! My husband had the Omelet Verde (tomatoes, sausage, cheese, green chili sauce) which was rich and robust in flavor. I had the Cajun Eggs (scrambled eggs with bell peppers, craw fish tails, and the most delicious chipotle hollandaise sauce!) The kids all had pancakes and bacon. The pancakes are quite big, so we had the boys (3 years old each) share one order with an extra side of bacon. Everything was delicious! The only item I can say I wasn't crazy about were their potatoes. Not that great, but pretty good mixed with chipotle hollandaise! Our tab was around $50 for our family of 5. Not too bad, but not something we can do very often. It was truly a good breakfast experience. I would highly recommend Benedict's and plan to go back.

Stopped in for breakfast after a long night of drinking with the Mrs. and a friend. Service here was very good and prompt as we were drinking OJ and coffee in no time. I ordered the Creole Eggs Benedict or something along those lines--crawfish tails and scrmbled eggs topped w/ hollondaise. Overall it was good, but perhaps a bit too rich after all the drinking. The Mrs. and buddy enjoyed their food much more than me. I'll stop back in again to see if we can't up the rating a bit when my tummy can handle the food.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not set the proper mood that will carry you throughout your day. Benedict's can surely do it. The atmosphere is much finer than your typical breakfast nook but don't let that stop you from wearing your shorts on the hot Colorado summer days. In the winter the fireplaces are nice and cozy to warm you through your dining experience. I don't go to restaurants for the atmosphere, I go for the food, so lets get down to business. The menu has standard brunch items ranging from omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles and then moves into the lunch genre with a plethora of sandwiches, salads, soups, and other entrees. To match the upscale atmosphere there are a few items on the menu that compliment the environment. One is the "bagel and lox". Essential this is cold-smoked salmon with a bagel and cream cheese. I save the adventurous food tasting for later in the day, but if you're up for it, its there, complete with capers. If you've got a breakfast date or you're just looking for a new breakfast experience, head on over to Benedict's to start your day.

The impression I get from this restaurant is that they ara targeting those who enjoy upper scale dining for breakfast. While the environment is representative the food is just average. Don't get me wrong it was good but not worth 5 stars. Some of the ingreadents lack the freashness that you would expect.

If you need an above average breakfast place without the wait, Benedict's is the place to go. It isn't the type of place to fall in love with, but it's the type you can depend on. The menu has many selections, but no entree has stood out as exceptional in my 10 or so visits. I've had several versions of their eggs benedict and a few scrambles. The staff is always very friendly and it's always clean.

This place is an awesome breakfast spot.Obviously they specialize in Benedicts since that is the name of the place. Went on a Friday mid morning and there was no wait at all. Sat 5 of us immediately and they took our drink orders right away. My only complaint about the menu is that there were many tempting items. I wanted to order 5 different things at once. I ordered the special Benedict of the day (Blackstone I think?) and it was amazing. Tomatoes, bacon, poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise. I wish there were more breakfast potatoes on the side but they were tasty as well. My only real complaint would be that there wasn't enough food. I was still hungry and was able to finish off my moms Denver Omelette as well (which was also tasty). Really I would give this a 4.5 but I awarded 5 stars for the good service and the many different menu options.

This is really fantastic breakfast! I know it's blasphemy to say it, but I like it even better than Lucile's. I love their Cajun breakfast dish, with crawfish tails. It's huge and I have to keep fighting off my husband 'cause he keeps "tasting" it. The menu is extensive, and the service is always great. I like it that they'll let you modify your order without giving you stink-eye.

This place is excellent and the service was impeccable. They had a great selection of skillets, crepes and other breakfast items. The prices were also very reasonable between $7-10. My parents turned me on this place and I now have to take my wife.

So I read through all of the reviews of Benedict's before going for Sunday brunch. I'm automatically leery about any place in Denver that portrays itself as "cajun" since I'm from south Louisiana. As it turns out, they have several good dishes. I had the Cajun Breakfast, and it was actually decent. It needed salt, which I often think is a sign of not-so-good food. But other than that, it was a unique dish. It was packed when we arrived at 10:00 AM. It appears that many large groups of people (8 or more per table) choose Benedict's for brunch. Unfortunately, our group of 5 adults and 1 infant got sandwiched between two very large groups in the smaller back room. There was literally not enough room for the servers to squeeze between us to the rest of the tables at the back of the room. We had to rearrange our seating several times, and I still got bumped by every passerby. This was a little frustrating, and I enjoyed my meal a little less after every bump. Overall, decent food, but very crowded and loud setting. Dine on an off hour (if there is such a thing for a breakfast-lunch joint).
